The News18 Marathi Navi Mumbai Conclave, held on February 19 in Navi Mumbai, brought together policymakers, urban planners, industry leaders and real estate experts for high-impact discussions on the Navi Mumbai and Raigad evolving urban landscape and future-ready development agenda.
The conclave served as a platform for dialogue on key themes, including urban development, redevelopment, infrastructure expansion and the roadmap for building smart and sustainable cities across Navi Mumbai and Raigad.
The session featured insights from Ravindrakumar Mankar, Chief Planner, CIDCO, Prakash Baviskar, CMD, Baviskar Group of Companies, and Rasik Chauhan, MD, Bhoomi Homes, who discussed urban planning priorities and challenges shaping the city’s future.
Further, discussions focused on redevelopment and self-development opportunities/ MIDC with participation from Dr. Kailas Baburao Shinde, Commissioner, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Manish Bathija, MD, Paradise Group, and Prashant Patel, Director, Delta Group.
The infrastructure-focused session brought together Ganesh Shete, Additional Commissioner, Panvel Municipal Corporation, Devang Trivedi, MD, Progressive Group, and Karan Sabhlok, Partner, Kamdhenu Realities, highlighting ongoing and upcoming projects driving regional connectivity and development.
A special fireside chat titled “Navi Mumbai–Raigad: Building the Smart and Sustainable Cities of Tomorrow” featured Aseem Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra, who attended as the Chief Guest and shared policy perspectives on urban transformation.
