Kochi: Nitta Gelatin India Limited has inaugurated three newly completed projects at its gelatin division in Kakkanad, which include a solar energy project, a new retail packing center, and a traffic median.
As part of promoting green energy production, the company’s newly set up solar energy project was inaugurated by Ernakulam District Collector Priyanka G. The new retail packing center at Nitta Gelatin, launched to make the product supply chain more efficient, was inaugurated by A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department and Company Chairman.
The attractively landscaped traffic median was inaugurated by Mohammed Basheer, CEO of KINFRA Export Promotion Industrial Park.
The event was attended by Nitta Gelatin India Managing Director Praveen Venkitaramanan, COO Eldose P. Kauma, ward councilor Priya Joy, and labor representative Varun. Representatives of KINFRA and KINESCO, along with company employees, also participated.
