One8’s Debut Shoe Drop Sells Out in Minutes on District, Draws Buyers from Across India

The launch marks the first time a sneaker brand has been released as an online pre-booking event that unlocks in-person experience, a new format for experiential retail in India. Pre-booking secures access to Global Premiere on 21st June at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi — where buyers collect their product, and Virat Kohli unveils the brand's next chapter.

New Delhi, June 6, 2026: one8, the high-performance sportswear brand co-founded by Virat Kohli and backed by Agilitas Sports, dropped its footwear collection pre-bookings on District by Zomato. 

Users from across India, from Delhi to cities like Goa, Chennai, Jammu, Indore, Mysore, Panipat and Lucknow, who pre-booked their favourite pair of one8 sneakers will get access to the one8 Global Premiere on 21 June 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. Virat Kohli will unveil the brand’s next chapter while customers collect their pairs and enjoy an immersive experience. 

Co-conceptualized by one8 and District by Zomato, this first-of-its-kind format in India seamlessly integrates an online purchase with a global premiere launch event.

The drop on District is the first public access to one8’s footwear range and introduces two cricket-inspired franchises — Seam and Cover Drive — each built around the brand’s belief in performance, ambition and self-expression. For hybrid athletes, the brand offers Boom Rush, a multi-activity trainer for running and workouts.
