Bengaluru, June 2, 2026: Ostara Advisors, India’s leading deep-tech & sustainability-focused investment bank, announced the appointment of Sophia Nadur as Strategic Advisor. In this role, Sophia will guide and support Ostara Advisors in deepening their strategic counsel across the energy transition, e-mobility, cleantech and sustainable infrastructure ecosystem, while strengthening the firm’s global investor and innovation network.
Sophia Nadur brings more than three decades of global leadership experience spanning corporate strategy, venture investing, innovation and commercial transformation across the energy, mobility and consumer sectors. Over the course of her career, she has held senior leadership roles across six Fortune 500 companies, including BP, Unilever, Mars, Coca-Cola, Kraft/Mondelēz and British American Tobacco across more than 20 markets including India, China, the UK and Europe, Singapore, Japan, the UAE and Latin America.
Most recently, during her tenure at BP, Sophia co-created the company’s global EV charging offer and supported the scale-up of multi-billion-dollar joint ventures in China and India. As a Managing Director and Investment Committee member at BP Ventures, she led a portfolio of over $200 million across clean energy and mobility ventures spanning four continents.
Sophia currently chairs the Investment Committee of one of the UAE’s leading cleantech accelerators and, until recently, served as a NED on boards in India and the UK. A qualified solicitor and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, she also serves as a magistrate in the UK and is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, representing all aspects of the energy sector.
