New Delhi, September 2026: The private preview of PALETTE INFINITO ∞, presented by Sagar’s Art Stream and curated by Pupul Sagar & Vikram Rawal, guided by founder & mentor: Romendra Sagar unfolded on 18 September at Gallery West End, New Delhi, as an intimate evening where art, conversation and a carefully brought-together community came together under one roof.
Designed as the first encounter with the exhibition before its public opening, the evening brought together selected artists from across India, collectors, patrons, art enthusiasts, critics, entrepreneurs, business leaders, senior professionals and invited guests. The atmosphere was deliberately conversational, allowing the artworks to become starting points for discussions rather than simply objects on display.
The private preview format has long been an important part of the art world, creating an opportunity for collectors, artists and members of the art community to encounter an exhibition before its wider public opening and to engage more closely with the works and their creators.
At PALETTE INFINITO, that spirit translated into an evening of good art and good company.
The gallery saw conversations unfolding around individual works, artistic practices, techniques, personal journeys and the evolving relationship between artists and their audiences. Art lovers and patrons moved through the exhibition, pausing before works, exchanging interpretations and discussing the ideas and stories behind them.
The evening also brought together people from remarkably diverse professional worlds. Among the guests were Mr. Shammi Narang; Mr. Manish Govil, Principal Commissioner, Directorate of Logistics; Mr. Vaibhav Trivedi, Advocate, Supreme Court; Ms. Priya Barjatiya Dhingra: Entrepreneur and member of BNI; Pawan Dhingra: Business Consultant, Ex American Express, Ex Bharat pe, Mr. Deepak Ahuja, Industrialist; Ms. Dolly Narang, renowned bhajan singer and collector; Mr. Mahesh Karambele, renowned senior artist whose works are held in private and public collections across various countries; Mr. Rohan Khanna, renowned Radio Jockey and celebrity podcaster; Ms. Jyotsna Punj, Senior Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi; and Mr. Dashrath Raghav, Advocate, High Court, among many other invited guests.
Their presence reflected the kind of cross-disciplinary audience PALETTE INFINITO seeks to bring into the gallery, where conversations around art can extend beyond the conventional art-world circle and connect with wider professional and cultural communities.
A Curated Constellation of Artists
PALETTE INFINITO brings together 32 selected participating artists alongside four Master Artists, creating a presentation that moves across generations, practices, mediums and artistic perspectives.
The selected participating artists are:
Abha Kochar, Anita Tiwary, Anoushka Singhal, Anjana Ojha, Aparna Sharma, Dr. Balesh Jindal, Bhavesh Puri, Deeksha Arunachalam, Dolma Dev Burma, Gauri Verma, Joelene J. Dove, Joti S. Nulin, Kaahini Sharma, Kalpna Jain, Lata Sharma, Mandira Ganguly, Molshree Ambastha, Nirja Mathur, Parijat Kanhai, Poornima Dayal, Pratima Bisen, Rahul Baswal, Rachna Singh, Reshma PV, Richa Chhajed, Sahil, Sanjay Duda, Santan, Shubham Koul, Sur Khurana, Upma Arora and V. Shruti Devi.
The exhibition also features four Master Artists:
Romendra Sagar, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Mahesh Karambele and Gavalav.
Together, the artists represent a broad geographical and artistic spread, with practices emerging from Delhi and the NCR as well as cities including Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Surat, Bangalore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jammu, Ajmer, Noida and beyond.
Rather than presenting a single aesthetic vocabulary, PALETTE INFINITO brings together distinct artistic voices and allows the works to exist in conversation with one another.
Where Art Became Conversation
One of the defining aspects of the evening was the sheer range of conversations taking place across the gallery.
Collectors and patrons discussed works with artists. Art enthusiasts exchanged interpretations. Professionals from law, medicine, business, government and media engaged with artists and one another. Conversations moved naturally from technique and material to inspiration, collecting, artistic journeys and the role of art in contemporary life.
This is precisely the kind of environment a private preview can create. Established art previews and collector evenings often use the more intimate format to encourage direct interaction between artists, collectors and the wider art community rather than limiting the experience to passive viewing.
At Gallery West End, PALETTE INFINITO’s opening evening carried that same sense of encounter.
The artworks were being looked at, discussed, questioned and experienced.
And perhaps most importantly, they were being talked about.
From Private Preview to Public Exhibition
Following the private preview on 18 September, PALETTE INFINITO ∞ is now open for public viewing from 19 September to 2 October 2026 at Gallery West End, C-16, West End Colony, New Delhi.
The exhibition continues to invite art lovers, collectors, patrons, professionals and first-time visitors to experience the works in person.
For Sagar’s Art Stream, PALETTE INFINITO is ultimately about creating the right context around art: bringing artists together thoughtfully, presenting their work with care and creating spaces where meaningful encounters can happen.
The private preview offered the first glimpse of that vision.
The public exhibition now opens that conversation to a wider audience.
