Brief Profile of Sinduri Reddy

Sinduri Reddy is the founder and Managing Director of the Premia Academy, with a  keen interest in education and is very much focussed on helping students and  teachers, both, to adapt to the dynamic world. Her motive is to educate today’s  children in managing their personal finance, entrepreneurship, creative thinking,  communication skills and other key skills to become better citizens of tomorrow. 

She aims to set up K-12 campuses where the children & young adults are prepared to  disrupt industries that may originate in the future age. Her major goal is to identify  key skills needed for the children & identify experts in those domains to enable our  students to learn from the best. She is also heading the research in identifying these  skills and strategically identifying and collaborating with partners to fill those needs.  She also heads the marketing & brand building activities of the school.  

She is an Economic graduate with a Masters in International Management from the  University of Essex. She is well experienced in the Ideation, strategic planning and  execution of the roadmap to build a better brand.  

Sinduri hails from a family of entrepreneurs who are into diverse portfolios including  Exports, Real-estate, IT & hospitality and most recently education.  

She is an avid reader, writer and a fantastic cook. She loves to watch movies. She  believes that her legacy is not the wealth but the change for the better that she can  bring.

1. What exactly is Premia Academy and what are the Mission and Vision of the school?

2. What is the philosophy of education as per you and how does Premia Academy provide it?

As a family we believe learning is a lifelong journey, and we believe that the best possible life you can live comes from a sense of balance and holistic living and most of all to live with integrity. That is the core motivation behind the school, the thought, intent and vision to raise children to live purposeful lives while upholding integrity above all.

As a school and as a team, we focus on equipping children with the attitude, aptitude and agility to live and adapt to the VUCA world. We focus on nurturing their skills to deal with life and its challenges along with academics and this skill development is catered to by collaborating with experts from the respective fields.

3. What is Premia Academy’s growth story? (From where it began to where it is now)

Our journey so far has been quite the rollercoaster considering our inception in the pandemic year. Our teachers had been trained 6 months prior for school, and at the time of opening, we had to adapt and train ourselves to online schooling. We started with 25 children, in the year 2020, growing to 300+ in 2021 and nearing 600 in 2022! Along the way we have collaborated with various experts, each consistently adding value to our curriculum be it design thinking, financial literacy, entrepreneurship or sustainable living. We had our first investiture ceremony of a full student cabinet in August 2022, therefore enabling student democracy. We also had our intra school cultural fest, Xperia. This year, we have begun a parent empowerment segment called Voice of Wisdom, wherein various topics ranging from social behaviours in teens to nutrition in children are being addressed. Apart from this we are slated to have our first career summit in October 2022.

4. Can you please give us a brief introduction to the founders of Premia Academy?

Sinduri Reddy (Founder, The Premia Academy)

With a keen interest in education, Ms. Sinduri Reddy spearheads the Premia Academy with inventiveness and prudence. Her focus is to help students and teachers, both, to adapt to the ever changing world of the 21st Century. Hailing from a business and real estate family, she didn’t expect to be part of the education fraternity, but the journey so far in this space is very fulfilling and uplifting in every sense of the word. 

Nallary Pradeep Reddy (Founder)

Widely recognized as one of the pioneers of the Information Technology revolution in India, Mr Reddy is the MD of The Interbiz and Infosun Group of Companies. He holds bachelors in Electronics from IIT, Madras & a Masters in Computer Science from Penn State. He is a visionary and has been a guiding force to the Premia Team.

Varun Reddy (CEO, Co-Founder)

A director at The Interbiz and Infosun Group of Companies, he ensures that over 3 Lakh employees spread across 800 clients have access to state-of-the-art Human Resource Automation Applications.

Subramanayam Kantheti (Co-Founder, COO)

He is a business management professional with an experience of over 25 years. Mr Kantheti has been instrumental in setting up and managing schools across the country.

Arti Mandhania (Co-Founder, Business Head)

She has an experience of 13 years and currently is the Business Head. A double post graduate in child psychology and business management, when not with kids, she is found with a book or a painting.

5. What are the tactical resources and infrastructural highlights of the school?
As mentioned earlier our tactical resources are our collaborators, our teacher who undergo continuous professional development, the scholastic guided reading bookroom with 6000+ books, our library that is equipped with 4000+ books. We also have state of the art physics, chemistry, biology, math and design thinking labs. They give us an edge in terms of providing a range of skills to our children. In terms of infrastructure, our utmost priority is ensuring a safe environment for oir children and so we have Centralized VRF AC System, CCTV Surveillance, Background verified Staff, Public Addressing System, Safe Transport Facility, Regular pest control and Sanitization and an Infirmary with a trained nurse. We also have many sporting facilities; the Futsal field, volleyball court, batting cages and basketball court. We also have an open arena for performances and public speaking.

With growing advancements and a fast-paced world, there is also a dire need for the  psychological and emotional well being of the children, hence, they are ensuring they  provide the children with necessary emotional support too.
