PeakAmp Partners with Chargeup to Streamline EV Battery Lifecycle Management

Gurugram, March 24, 2026: PeakAmp, a battery circularity and lifecycle management company, has announced a strategic partnership with Chargeup, India’s leading FiNeTech platform for last-mile drivers.

Under this partnership, PeakAmp will work as a technical partner with Chargeup, supporting the procurement, testing, grading, repurposing, and recycling of battery packs generated through Chargeup’s battery financing operations. The collaboration aims to bring greater structure and efficiency to the management of batteries across their entire lifecycle.

This engagement will enable structured monitoring of batteries from deployment to end of life, improving traceability, compliance, and performance optimisation. Chargeup’s battery passport will provide tamper-proof, dynamic data on battery health (SoH), usage history, and material composition, enabling PeakAmp’s recyclers to make precise decisions on reuse or recovery, eliminating opaque manual testing.

Commenting on the partnership, Aditya Sudhanshu, Co-Founder & COO, PeakAmp, said, “As battery leasing models scale across India, building a robust framework for lifecycle management becomes critical. This partnership with Chargeup allows us to bring together on-ground execution and technology-led traceability to ensure batteries are efficiently managed across their lifecycle, from deployment to second-life use and eventual recycling. We are excited to collaborate on building a more structured and responsible battery ecosystem.”

“This partnership unlocks data-backed transparency across the battery lifecycle, empowering on-the-go analysis to pinpoint repurpose and recycle value with precision,” said Satish Mittal, Co-Founder and Chief Digital Officer at Chargeup. “We’re extending battery life for massive CO2 savings, aligning with India’s green mobility goals.”

By combining operational capabilities with data-driven insights, the collaboration is expected to enhance transparency and decision-making across the battery value chain. This initiative comes at a critical time, as India’s electric mobility ecosystem continues to expand, resulting in a growing number of batteries requiring efficient end-of-life management.

This initiative builds on Chargeup’s Battery Passport pilot announced earlier and PeakAmp’s seed-funded innovations, positioning India as a global leader in circular battery tech.
