Bengaluru,27 October 2025: The Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association (PHANA), spearheaded by Dr. Shobha Prakash, the first lady and team President, successfully organized the “PHANA Cricket League” and a Free Mega Health Camp on Sunday, October 26, 202,5, at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Stadium, Basaveshwaranagar, as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of Shri. Tejasvi Surya, Hon’ble Member of Parliament — Bangalore South Constituency; and Shri. Priya Krishna, Hon’ble Member of the Legislative Assembly — Govindarajanagar Constituency, and Dr. Shobha Prakash, President, PHANA, and office bearers of the association.
The Cricket League, which began at 7 a.m., saw enthusiastic participation from various hospital teams. The matches, filled with sportsmanship and excitement, became the highlight of the day.
Simultaneously, the Free Mega Health Camp saw hundreds of citizens take advantage of free X-ray, ECG, GRBS, and Hb tests, along with free medical consultations from specialist doctors.
PHANA President Dr. Shobha Prakash stated, “This Silver Jubilee celebration is a symbol of recognition for PHANA’s 25 years of dedicated service in the healthcare sector. Through such community-oriented initiatives, PHANA remains committed to spreading health awareness and expanding quality medical services in the days to come.”
The event saw active participation from representatives of several hospitals, doctors, staff members, and citizens, making it a grand success.
