Bengaluru, 21st February, 2025 – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru, is set to host the 3rd edition of PRAKALP, the Annual Science Expo, on March 15, 2025. Organized by Aavishkara, the Science and Innovation Forum, under Prachodana, the technical wing of Amritadhara, this flagship event is dedicated to fostering innovation, scientific curiosity, and real-world problem-solving.
PRAKALP 2025 celebrates National Science Day by bringing together young minds from across India, offering them a platform to showcase groundbreaking ideas, collaborate, and inspire innovation. Through project exhibitions, competitions, and interactive activities, the event encourages students to explore cutting-edge advancements in science and technology.
Following the success of the past two editions, this year’s expo is expected to be even more engaging and impactful. Participants will have the opportunity to present visionary solutions across diverse domains, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy, Robotics and Automation, Biomedical Engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), Material Science and Nanotechnology, Cybersecurity and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Astrophysics, Architectural Technologies, and Additive Manufacturing.
PRAKALP 2025 is designed as a team-based event, allowing a maximum of five members per team, with each participant contributing to only one project. The competition will progress through multiple phases, starting with online submissions from February 14 to February 28, followed by an online evaluation on March 5, culminating in the final presentation and demonstration on March 15, 2025.
This initiative underscores Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s commitment to bridging science and engineering, nurturing young talent, and fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. The expo is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of knowledge, creativity, and the power of scientific exploration.
