Varanasi, September 20, 2025 – The Pride of Bharat Awards and Icons of Uttar Pradesh Awards 2025 were held with great distinction at the Taj Ganges, Varanasi, honouring exceptional organisations and personalities for their remarkable contributions across social, economic, and corporate sectors in India and abroad.
Established in 2023, the Pride of Bharat Awards celebrate entrepreneurs, educationists, activists, philanthropists, and professionals who are driving positive change and contributing to nation-building.
On this historic occasion, the Save Earth Mission, dedicated to advancing the global green revolution, joined hands with the Pride of Bharat Awards to announce an ambitious initiative – the plantation of 3,000 crore trees worldwide by 2040 as part of its Global Green Revolution Campaign.
The mission was formally launched in Varanasi on September 17, 2025, coinciding with the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, aligning with his noble vision of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.” As a symbolic birthday tribute, this green revolution will expand across 75 countries, reinforcing India’s commitment to sustainability and global environmental leadership.
