Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd Brings AI Education Infrastructure to Mahad, Enabling Students to Access Emerging Technologies

August 2026 Privi Speciality Chemicals Limited (“Privi”), a leading global manufacturer, supplier and exporter  of aroma and fragrance chemicals, has established an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre at Hirwal Education  Trust’s College of Science, Computer Science and Information Technology in Mahad, creating a dedicated  technology-enabled learning environment designed to equip students with future-ready skills and exposure  to emerging technologies.

As artificial intelligence continues to transform industries and redefine workforce requirements, access to  technology-led education has become increasingly important. The AI Centre has been established with the  objective of providing students with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, helping them build  practical skills and preparing them for opportunities in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

The Centre features dedicated AI-enabled computer systems, internet-connected smart panels, specialised  classroom infrastructure, power backup systems and technology-enabled learning resources that support  experiential learning and innovation.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Mahesh Babani, Chairman and Managing Director, Privi Speciality  Chemicals Ltd. said, “Technology is transforming the way industries operate and creating entirely new career  opportunities. Ensuring that students have access to emerging technologies and relevant skills is essential to  preparing them for the future. As an organisation with deep roots in Mahad, we remain committed to  supporting initiatives that contribute to education, skill development and long-term community progress.”

Since its launch, the Centre has hosted a series of workshops, lectures and training sessions aimed at  introducing students to the practical applications of artificial intelligence. These include AI-focused  workshops conducted by Chetan Taksale, Director, Softech Solutions and Services, Pune, along with expert  sessions by Pushkar Adhikari, Co-Founder of Apex Academy, Mumbai, Harshita Gaikwad, AI Teacher, and  Masooda Antule, AI Trainer. The programmes are designed to help students understand the real-world  applications of AI and encourage innovation-led thinking.

The initiative forms part of Privi’s broader commitment to community development through education, skill  development and knowledge access. By bringing advanced learning infrastructure closer to students and  creating opportunities to engage with emerging technologies, the company aims to contribute towards  building a future-ready talent pool while strengthening educational infrastructure in the Mahad region.
