India, September 29, 2025— Progress Software (Nasdaq: PRGS), the trusted provider of AI-powered digital experience and infrastructure software, today announced the recipients of the fifth annual Progress Software Akanksha Scholarship for Women in STEM in India.
The Akanksha Scholarship for Women in STEM, named after the Sanskrit word for “aspiration,” provides a four-year renewable award of up to INR 1,50,000 annually to support tuition and educational expenses for young women in India pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM.
This year’s scholarship recipients are Aditi Narang and Nikitha G:
- Aditi Narang is pursuing a Computer Science and Engineering degree at KIET Group of Institutions in Delhi, with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning. She coordinates her institution’s participation in National Science Day and International Education Awareness Week and is active in student organizations including Innogeeks and the Indian Society for Technical Education.
- Nikitha G is a student of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu. She also developed an event management platform for her institution’s student achievement portal, combining her interests in technology, design, and education. In addition to her academic successes, Nikitha serves as a board member for TEDxBITSathy.
