Mumbai, April 1st 2026: PwC India announced a leadership transition in its Deals practice as Shashank Jain steps down from his role as Co‑Leader, Deals, to pursue an exciting opportunity in the industry. The Deals practice will continue to be led by Mohit Chopra, ensuring continuity and sustained momentum for the business.
Commenting on the transition, Dinesh Arora, Partner and Leader – Advisory, PwC India, said: “We deeply appreciate the significant contributions made by Shashank over close to three decades he has spent with PwC, particularly his defining role in shaping and strengthening our Transaction Services practice in India. The Deals practice continues to be a key growth driver for PwC India. The firm expects the business to further grow and flourish under Mohit. He will continue to lead support to clients through complex transactions and transformational moments, building on the strong foundation established over the years.
