R for Rabbit Celebrates the Strength of Real Motherhood with Mother’s Day Campaign “Tough Moms Need Strong Support”

7th May 2026, Mumbai, India: This Mother’s Day, R for Rabbit unveils a heartfelt and deeply relatable campaign that shifts the narrative around modern motherhood. Titled “Tough Moms Need Strong Support,” the campaign celebrates one of the most overlooked aspects of parenting, a mother’s courage to stay firm, even in the face of judgment, pressure, and public scrutiny.

Building on the strong momentum of its previous Mother’s Day campaign, which saw the creation of  world’s first lullaby to the recreation of the song Mumma by Kailash Kher in collaboration with Times Music to remind mothers to never forget their dreams, R for Rabbit continues its journey of telling emotionally resonant, insight-led stories that connect deeply with modern parents.

Moving away from idealised portrayals of motherhood, R for Rabbit brings focus to the unglamorous yet essential moments that define real parenting. At the heart of the campaign lies a powerful insight: sometimes, the most loving thing a mother can do is say “no” and stand by it.

The campaign features three digital films with popular creators Tanvi Thakkar, Gurpreet Bedi, and That Quirky Mamma (Linda Fernandes), each bringing their unique voice and authenticity to stories rooted in everyday parenting realities.

A Story Every Parent Knows

Each film captures a universally familiar moment, a child’s public tantrum. Whether it unfolds in a living room, a restaurant, or during a work call, the emotional arc remains the same:
A mother chooses to hold her ground instead of giving in.

In these moments, the campaign highlights a subtle yet powerful shift, the people around her, be it family, colleagues, or even strangers, choose to support her instead of judging or undermining her decision. With no audience to fuel the meltdown, the child eventually calms down, reinforcing the idea that consistency and support create better outcomes.

Redefining Strength in Motherhood

The campaign’s central philosophy is simple yet profound: being a “tough mom” is not about being harsh, it’s about being intentional, patient, and resilient. By normalising these moments, R for Rabbit acknowledges the silent pressures mothers face and offers a refreshing perspective — that firmness is not failure, but strength.

Each film also incorporates an intimate, fourth-wall-breaking moment, allowing the mother to connect directly with the viewer with a subtle nod that says, “I see you.”

Kunal Popat, Founder & CEO, R for Rabbit, said, “At R for Rabbit, our journey has always been rooted in real parenting experiences. This campaign is deeply personal because we’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for parents to stay firm in moments of pressure. Through ‘Tough Moms Need Strong Support,’ we want to shift the narrative, to remind mothers that setting boundaries is not just okay, it’s essential. And when the ecosystem around her supports that decision, it creates a stronger foundation for both the child and the parent.”

Kinjal Popat, Co-Founder & COO, R for Rabbit, added, “As a mother, I understand how emotionally challenging these everyday moments can be. There’s often an unspoken judgment that comes with parenting in public spaces. With this campaign, we wanted to acknowledge that reality while also celebrating the quiet strength of mothers who choose consistency over convenience. More importantly, we wanted to highlight that mothers shouldn’t have to do it alone, a little support can make all the difference in helping them stay confident in their choices.”

With this campaign, R for Rabbit continues to champion real parenting journeys, embracing the highs, the lows, and everything in between. By spotlighting the importance of support systems, the brand reinforces its role not just as a baby products company, but as a partner that truly understands the emotional landscape of modern parenting.
