Noida, 1st October 2026: Ramagya School, Noida Extension played host to the Ramagya Blue Cubs League 2026, organised under the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) Blue Cubs programme in association with the Uttar Pradesh Football Sangh and the Football Association Noida G.B. Nagar. The tournament brought together school teams and young footballers on campus for a series of league matches as part of the grassroots football initiative.
Teams from different schools and football training centres participated in a series of league matches. Besides the results on the field, the tournament allowed the participants to play organised matches against different teams and gain exposure to competitive football. For several participants, the league was less about the final result and more about spending time on the field under match conditions.
As the league progressed, teams from different schools and football training centres faced each other in a series of matches. The league fixtures ended at Ramagya School, Noida Extension, where the participating teams completed their matches. For many young players, the tournament added valuable match experience and an opportunity to compete against teams from different schools and football training centres.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Utkarsh Gupta, Managing Director, Ramagya Group, said, “The energy shown by the young footballers throughout the league was a pleasure to watch. Football teaches children to work together, make quick decisions and respect the game, whether they win or lose. It was heartening to see children play with so much enthusiasm throughout the league. We are happy that Ramagya School could host a tournament that gave young players another chance to step onto the field and test themselves.”

Through collaborations with organisations such as the NBA Basketball School, Bhaichung Bhutia Football Academy and Padukone Sports Management, the academy continues to create opportunities for young athletes to train under recognised coaching programmes.
The Ramagya Blue Cubs League 2026 concluded with young footballers gaining valuable competitive exposure and match experience through the grassroots initiative. The event reinforced the importance of structured sporting platforms in helping children develop confidence, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the game.
