19th October 2022 Hyderabad: Ratnadeep, Retail a supermarket chain, which is synonymous with quality, trust and customer satisfaction conducted a food distribution drive in association with Lions Club Yuva in Hyderabad. The management & staff members offered their assistance in distributing food to the needy at various Ratnadeep stores across the city. Around 3,500 individuals at 12 Ratnadeep stores, were given freshly prepared, scrumptious, and healthy breakfast items including idli, upma, and chutney, as well as other daily essentials like rice, dal, and sugar, were also distributed.
The Food distribution drive was organized to align with the objectives of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and demonstrate Ratnadeep’s dedication to helping the disadvantaged and needy. Every year, World Food Day marks the importance of raising awareness across the world about people who are hungry and the need of ensuring everyone has good food. Ratnadeep is trying to make a difference in the community with its food distribution drives to honour World Food Day and the significance of leaving no one behind as well as to demonstrate the strength of unity and the value of sharing.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Yash Agarwal, Director, Ratnadeep Retail Pvt. Ltd said, “Access to a healthy, nutritious meal is far from reality in our country and the poor and marginalized find it harder to meet their daily food requirements. We at Ratnadeep, believe that the right nutrition is the most important aspect of the development of a healthy and productive society. These distribution drives were instrumental in providing food to thousands of underprivileged people across Hyderabad. We are constantly working towards the upliftment of the society and we will look forward to organizing more such drives in the future”
