Jaipur, 24th June 2026: The Indian Healthcare League (IHL), recognized as the world’s largest healthcare cricket league and India’s leading cricket-led healthcare awareness platform, has announced a major brand expansion for Season 2 with Indian cricket star Ravi Bishnoi joining the league as its official Brand Ambassador.
The association marks a significant milestone in IHL’s journey to strengthen its national brand presence while leveraging cricket as a powerful medium to drive conversations around preventive healthcare, cancer awareness, wellness education, and community engagement.
Promoted by White Coat Sports, the Indian Healthcare League was established to bring together healthcare professionals from across India through the unifying appeal of cricket while creating a unique sports-healthcare ecosystem with meaningful social impact. Building on the success of its inaugural season, which featured franchises from Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, IHL is now accelerating its nationwide expansion with a stronger leadership framework, broader participation, and enhanced audience engagement.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rahul Mangal, CMD, White Coat Sports & Founder Indian Healthcare League, said, “The association of Ravi Bishnoi with IHL is a landmark moment for our movement. Cricket has the ability to inspire millions, and together we aim to create greater awareness around preventive healthcare, cancer awareness, physical fitness, and mental well-being. With the guidance of distinguished healthcare leaders and the expansion of our league ecosystem, we are committed to building a stronger and healthier India through sport.”
Expressing his excitement about the association, Ravi Bishnoi, Brand Ambassador, Indian Healthcare League, said, “I am delighted to join the Indian Healthcare League as Brand Ambassador. Cricket is a powerful platform that connects people across all sections of society. IHL is using that power to spread awareness about healthcare and healthy living, and I am proud to be associated with such a meaningful initiative. I look forward to supporting the league’s efforts to inspire healthier lifestyles and positive change across communities.”
As part of its Season 2 growth strategy, IHL will introduce several new franchises, significantly expanding participation from healthcare professionals across the country. The league has also announced nationwide doctor trials across major cities, creating a structured talent identification platform while strengthening its presence across new markets and healthcare communities.
Further broadening its brand portfolio, IHL has launched “SheStrike”, a dedicated franchise-based women’s healthcare cricket league aimed at creating a national platform for women healthcare professionals. The initiative reinforces the league’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and women empowerment through sport. Veteran media and entertainment professional Ms. Nivedita Basu has been appointed CEO of SheStrike and will lead the league’s strategic growth, operations, and expansion.
Enhancing fan engagement and celebrating regional identity, IHL will also introduce Rajasthani-language commentary during its broadcasts. The initiative aims to promote Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage while creating a deeper emotional connect with regional audiences and expanding the league’s linguistic outreach.
With an expanded leadership team, a national talent development programme, the launch of a women’s league, new franchise additions, and the onboarding of Ravi Bishnoi as Brand Ambassador, Season 2 positions IHL as a rapidly growing sports-healthcare platform that combines the influence of cricket with the larger purpose of public health awareness. The league continues to redefine how sport can be leveraged to build stronger communities, amplify healthcare messaging, and create lasting social impact across India.
