National, September 30, 2026: redBus Hotels, an affordable accommodation platform from redBus, today announced the expansion of its stay offerings with Guaranteed Early Check-In, Hourly Stays, and Book at Zero, designed around the travel patterns and needs of intercity bus travellers. With hotel inventory located in and around key bus stops and terminals, and accommodation options across accessible price points, the offerings are designed to complement the travel needs of redBus’s intercity bus customer base. They give travellers greater flexibility when planning their stays, particularly for early-morning arrivals, short stopovers and trips where conventional hotel check-in and full-day booking options may not align with their travel schedules.
For travellers arriving before conventional hotel check-in timings, Guaranteed Early Check-In allows customers to opt for an early check-in while booking their hotel on the redBus app. This gives travellers greater certainty while planning their stay, rather than requesting an early check-in only after arriving at the property.
For travellers who do not require an overnight stay, Hourly Stays allows customers to book hotel rooms for 3, 6 or 9 hours instead of a full day. Travellers can choose their preferred check-in time between 5 AM and 9 PM, making the feature suitable for early arrivals, short business visits, transit halts, layovers, day-use requirements and trips to pilgrimage destinations. The feature is currently available across a wide network of properties in India.
The offerings are designed around travel patterns observed on the redBus platform. A significant share of bus services to Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Aurangabad arrive early in the morning, creating a need for more flexible hotel stays. Reflecting this demand, Hourly Stays is available across key markets including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Coimbatore and Jaipur, as well as popular pilgrimage destinations such as Tirupati, Madurai, Tiruchendur and Amritsar.
Complementing these flexible stay options, Book at Zero allows customers to reserve their stay in advance without making an upfront payment. Customers can make bookings well ahead of their stay date, including up to a year in advance, with cancellations possible up to 24 hours before the stay date*, subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy.
