Bengaluru, November 4, 2025 :
Roombr, an AI-powered Digital Classroom platform transforming learning outcomes in Tier-2 and Tier-3 India, has appointed Fayyaz Hussain as Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to accelerate expansion and lead global growth and fundraising initiatives.
The hire comes as Roombr scales rapidly, having deployed 3,000 AI-enabled smart classrooms across 1,000 schools, impacting 150,000 students across emerging India in just two years as one of the fastest EdTech hardware-SaaS deployments in the country.
Hussain, a two-time entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in scaling technology ventures, has previously held leadership roles at Paytm, iBibo Group, U2opia Mobile, and Times Internet. He has led early-stage GTM build-outs, rapid geographic expansion programs, and high-growth digital businesses, bringing deep expertise across strategy, partnerships, and fundraise execution.
“We are entering a scale-up phase where speed, capital strategy and global expansion become mission-critical. Fayyaz’s leadership and track record in scaling tech companies makes him the ideal partner to drive our next chapter as we deepen our India footprint and expand into Southeast Asia and the Middle East,” said Satisha Naraharimurthy, Founder & CEO of Roombr.
Roombr, founded and bootstrapped by Naraharimurthy, is world’s first built patented AI-powered Digital Classroom infrastructure that combines hardware, software, AI-based analytics, and learning-outcome tracking designed specifically for Indian schools and international emerging markets.
The Made in India platform for the world, drives personalised instruction, measurable learning gains, and teacher enablement, addressing foundational education gaps at scale.
As CGO, Hussain will lead growth, strategic fundraising, and international market entry, as Roombr positions itself among the most innovation-led education infrastructure companies globally.
“Roombr is one of those rare Made-in-India companies solving a foundational education challenge with global-class technology, I look forward to working with Satish and the team to unlock new markets, expand institutional partnerships, and scale impact globally,” said Fayyaz Hussain.
Roombr is now preparing for a major fundraise to accelerate deployment across India’s education ecosystem and build out international partnerships, particularly in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, where demand for affordable AI-driven classroom infrastructure is rapidly rising.
