Bengaluru, June – july 2026: Natanam Institute of Dance is proud to present “Nruthyasammohana”, the Bharatanatyam Arangetram of Kum. Saanvi Lalwani, daughter of Smt. Pratibha Lalwani and Shri Sheetal Lalwani, on Saturday, 4 July 2026, at 5:15 PM at Bangalore Gayana Samaja, near Makkala Koota, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.

A dedicated disciple of Guru Acharya Dr. Raksha Karthik, Director of Natanam Institute of Dance, Saanvi’s Arangetram marks a significant milestone in her artistic journey. Her debut performance is the culmination of years of rigorous training, unwavering discipline, and deep commitment to the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam.

A Grade II student at National Public School, Saanvi will present a thoughtfully curated repertoire that highlights the grace, depth, and expressive power of Bharatanatyam. The recital will feature traditional compositions set to a variety of ragas and talas, including works by revered composers such as Saint Thyagaraja, Purandara Dasa, Sri Andal, Muthiah Bhagavathar, Oothukadu Venkata Kavi, and others.

Through this special presentation, Saanvi will showcase the technical finesse, rhythmic precision, and emotive storytelling that are hallmarks of one of India’s most celebrated classical dance traditions. The Arangetram signifies not only her readiness as a solo performer but also her passion, perseverance, and devotion to the performing arts.

The evening will be graced by eminent personalities, including Prof. S. Sadagopan, Founder Director, IIIT Bangalore, and Chairman, Higher Education Vision Group, Government of Karnataka, as the Chief Guest. Guests of Honour include Dr. M.R.V. Prasad, President, Bangalore Gayana Samaja; Mrs. Jyotsna Nair, Principal, NPS Koramangala; and Mr. Vimal Kumar, CEO, Juspay.

Ensemble: Nattuvangam – Guru Acharya Dr. Raksha Karthik, Vocal – Vidwan Sri Balasubramanya Sharma, Mridangam – Vidwan Bhavani Shankar, Flute – Vidwan Deepak Hebbar, Veena – Vidwan Gopal Venkataramana, Rhythm Pad – Prasanna Kumar.
