Safed’s Independence Day 2026 Campaign Highlights the Power of a Mother’s Values

New film explores how fairness, empathy and humanity can help build a more united nation

New Delhi, August 2026: This Independence Day, Safed celebrates the values a mother brings into her home and explores how they can inspire a more humane and united society. Through its new Independence Day 2026 film , the brand highlights the importance of fairness, compassion and looking beyond differences.

The film features Divya, a DCP and a mother, who finds herself handling a tense student protest involving young people around her daughter’s age. While remaining firm in her duty as a police officer, Divya does not lose sight of her empathy. She looks beyond the situation and sees the protestors simply as someone’s children. Her words, “ Yeh bhi toh kisike bachche hain na, Sir, ” capture the heart of the campaign.

Commenting on the thought behind the film, Ritum Jain, Director, Shantinath Detergents Pvt. Ltd., said, “We wanted to show that the values a mother brings into her home—fairness, empathy and humanity—can also guide us as a society. If we carry these values beyond our homes, we can build a better nation together.”

At a time when differences can often overshadow what connects us, Safed’s Independence Day film offers a simple reminder: before our differences, we are all human. Through the campaign, the brand hopes to encourage a larger conversation around the values that can bring people closer and contribute to a more compassionate India.
