This May, the energy at SAZ American Brasserie is set to rise with an electrifying bar takeover by Soy Como Soy (SCS), entrants in food and beverage. On Friday, 16th May, the evening will transform into a vibrant celebration of bold Latin-American flavours, inventive cocktails, and high-octane hospitality. The collaboration brings together SCS’s signature taco and churro specials with an exclusive cocktail lineup, crafted for two days pop up, promising guests an unforgettable, high-energy evening.
At the heart of this takeover are five inspired cocktails that play with classic formats and unexpected ingredients. Highlights include the Blueberry Pisco Sour with lavender and lime, the caffeinated twist of Mandarin Coffee, and the whimsical Sake Song with raspberry sorbet. Also on the list: Shibumi, a shiso-tinged tequila mix, and the Canta-loop, a melon-forward gin and vermouth creation. Alongside the drinks, guests can indulge in SCS’s signature dishes like the Avo Miso Tartare, Bean and Corn Tacos, Ponzu Fish Tacos, and the ever-popular Shaking Tacos (with chicken or pork), rounded off with golden, sugar-dusted Churros.
Bringing this vibrant vision to life are Bar Manager Moly, the face behind SCS’s spirited bar program, and Sous Chef Dewang, who helms the flavour-packed kitchen. The food and cocktail menu will be available for the Friday night takeover with full-throttle energy, while Saturday will feature the same special menu in a more laid-back, sit-down format. This two-day celebration is a seamless blend of SAZ’s Americana flair and SCS’s Latin street soul—one not to be missed.
