Mumbai, September 06, 2024Ā – SBI Foundation, the CSR arm of the nationās largest bank, State Bank of India, has announced the 3rd edition of its flagship Asha Scholarship Program guaranteeing support to 10,000 meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds nationwide.
Students from Class 6 to postgraduate level can now access scholarship ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 20, 00, 000 in a year. The program offers specialized categories for school students, undergraduates, postgraduates, as well as those enrolled in IITs and IIMs in India. Specifically, the āStudy Abroadā category designed for SC and ST students will act as a major aid to them in pursuing Masters and above from eminent institutions worldwide.
The application window for the scholarship, which opened on 16thĀ August 2024, will remain open till 1stĀ October 2024 onĀ https://www.sbifashascholarship.org/. Details on eligibility and timelines of the scholarship are available on the website, and students can also inquire on the helpline.

The Asha Scholarship program is dedicated to identifying and supporting meritorious students from the most underserved backgrounds, with a mission to make quality higher education accessible for young Indians. Since its inception in 2022, the scholarship program has provided timely financial support to the tune of ā¹ 3.91 crore to 3, 198 students.
