Feb 06, 2026: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Skål International India has signed strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with five of India’s most influential travel exhibition organisers, marking a significant milestone for structured, pan-India networking across the travel and tourism industry in 2026.
This pioneering move brings together Skål International India and the country’s leading B2B travel trade platforms to create sustained engagement opportunities for Skål members while strengthening industry collaboration nationwide. The MoUs cover five major exhibition portfolios: OTM, BLTM, and the TTF series by Fairfest Media; SATTE by Informa Markets; ITB India by Messe Berlin, the GPS series by Global Panorama Showcase India; and the IITM series by Sphere Travel Media & Exhibitions.
Together, these exhibitions span multiple cities and regions, offering Skål International India members unprecedented access to curated networking, visibility, and meaningful business connections across the country. The collaboration is designed to integrate Skål’s global networking ethos with India’s most powerful travel trade marketplaces, benefiting not only Skål members but also the wider travel industry ecosystem.
Sanjeev Mehra, President, Skål International India, said, “This is the first time Skål International India has taken such a comprehensive and structured initiative with five leading travel exhibitions companies across the country. These MoUs represent a strong step forward in creating consistent, high-quality networking platforms for our members. The benefits will be immense — not just for Skål members, but for the entire travel and tourism industry that engages with them.”
This landmark collaboration reinforces Skål International India’s commitment to leadership, collaboration, and inclusive growth. By aligning with the country’s most respected travel exhibitions, Skål International India is setting a new benchmark for industry partnerships—one that strengthens professional relationships, amplifies opportunities, and supports the long-term development of India’s travel and tourism sector.
