India, September 2026: SkillBox has been announced as the exclusive ticketing partner for Super League Kerala (SLK), marking the live entertainment platform’s first foray into sports.
The partnership begins with the third season of Super League Kerala, scheduled to kick off on September 25. The league returns with six clubs: Calicut FC, Forca Kochi FC, Kannur Warriors FC, Malappuram FC, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC and Thrissur Magic FC.
Having built its business across live entertainment, events and technology, SkillBox will bring its existing infrastructure and experience to one of India’s most engaged football markets, while using the partnership as a foundation for its growing ambitions in sport.
“SkillBox’s partnership with the Super League Kerala marks an important step in our expansion into sports. Over the past few years, we’ve invested significantly in building technology and infrastructure specifically for the sports ecosystem — from ticketing and access management to fan data, payments and digital engagement. We believe this foundation can help leagues and teams build stronger, more connected fan experiences, both inside and beyond the stadium,” said Anmol Kukreja, Founder & CEO, SkillBox.
“Kerala has one of the most passionate football communities in India, which makes Super League Kerala an exciting platform for us to begin this journey. For SkillBox, this is bigger than ticketing — it’s about building a deeper sports vertical across technology, fan engagement, data and on-ground experiences, and taking what we learn here to sporting properties across the country.”
Launched in 2024, Super League Kerala was created to strengthen the state’s professional football ecosystem while creating opportunities for homegrown players to compete alongside experienced Indian and international talent. The league has since built a substantial following both in stadiums and across broadcast and digital platforms.
Season 3 of Super League Kerala is about taking Kerala football to the next level,” said Mathew Joseph, Director & Chief Executive Officer, Super League Kerala. Our partnership with Skillbox strengthens our commitment to creating a stronger football ecosystem — connecting talent, clubs, fans and opportunities. Kerala has the passion; together, we are building the platform to turn that passion into a sustainable football movement with a global footprint.”
According to figures published by Super League Kerala, cumulative stadium attendance grew from 451,892 in its inaugural season to 547,693 in Season 2, while television reach increased from 12.76 million to 25.32 million.
For SkillBox, Super League Kerala offers an opportunity to apply its experience in live entertainment to a new category, with the company looking to expand its capabilities across sports technology, data and fan experiences as it works with sporting properties around the country.
