Snapchat develops a unique cricket AR lens for Spotify’s IPL campaign #SpotifyOnTohMazzaOn

Mumbai, 26th May 2022: Snapchat and Spotify have come together to design an unparalleled AR experience for cricket lovers this IPL season. With the unique Dynamic Cricket AR Lens, Snapchatters for the first time, will be able to create their own IPL match reactions, in real time! Snapchat AR lens has been enabled to dynamically pull in match scores and key match moments right into the lens, allowing users to create their match reactions.

The new #SpotifyOnTohMazzaOn campaign is all about leveraging music to add a dash of fun to daily, routine situations and with the ongoing IPL season, Spotify decided to add an AR-twist to cricket celebrations! The Spotify AR lens allows Snapchatters to react with celebratory music and AR effects to key match moments.

The Dynamic cricket AR lens is live on Snap during the match duration and opens in the selfie view, displaying the match score in real-time. Taking the excitement up a notch, Snapchatters can celebrate important match moments like 4s, 6s and wickets as the lens displays that moment in the form of celebratory effects with peppy music powered by Spotify music.
