Mumbai, December 11, 2025: Sony Sports Network is all set to broadcast the upcoming Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup between 12th to 21st December 2025, live from Dubai. Riding the momentum of the Asia Cup Rising Star 2025, Sony Sports Network will spotlight the young guns going head-to-head. The tournament will feature top teams from the region and India’s brightest emerging players, including Ayush Mhatre as well as Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who earned his place in the Under-19 squad after an outstanding performance alongside his India A teammates.
The 2025 edition of the Asia Cup Rising Stars put youth cricket on a pedestal, delivering viewership multiples higher than the 2024 edition. The tournament reached 30.4 million unique viewers, almost five times that of the previous iteration with India’s matches rating three times higher. This surge reflects growing interest in cricket beyond the India men’s senior team and sets the stage perfectly for the Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup starting December 12.
The tournament features eight teams Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nepal, and UAE. Team India, led by captain Ayush Mhatre with vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra, faces stiff competition in Group A alongside Pakistan, UAE, & Malaysia, while Group B pits Bangladesh against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal. The matches kick off in Dubai, promising high stakes clashes among these rising stars.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, India’s most exciting young cricketer and the standout performer from the Asia Cup Rising Stars, has been selected for the Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup squad. His inclusion is set to ignite viewer interest and add a thrilling new dimension to the tournament.
