Sony India has launched its latest device Sony Walkman NW-ZX707 in India. The Song Walkman NW-ZX707 is a premium portable music player for hi-fi enthusiasts and audiophiles. The device is a perfect blend of modern technology and traditional Walkman. The company says that the device inherits the philosophy of the Signature Walkman.
Sony Walkman NW-ZX707 price and availability: The Sony Walkman NW-ZX707 is priced at Rs. 69,990. The device can be purchased through Headphone Zone. It is up for sale starting from January 30, 2023.
Details about the new Sony Walkman NW-ZX707: The device features a 5-inch 720p TFT color display with 1280×720 pixel resolution along with enhanced battery life as compared to previous models. The company claims that the device offers a battery life of up to 25 hours. It also offers up to 25 hours of 44.1kHz FLAC playback, up to 23 hours of 96 kHz FLAC High-Resolution Audio playback, or up to 22 hours of streaming. It runs on Android 12 out-of-the-box and comes with Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Walkman comes with a DSD Remastering Engine where PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) audio is resampled into an 11.2 MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital) that improves sound quality and delivers various ways of enjoying music. With the help of technology, the Walkman can decrease distortion and noise across a wide range of frequencies.
The device uses features like Edge-AI (Artificial Intelligence), and DSEE Ultimate (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) to upscale compressed digital music files in real time. These features deliver even greater benefits for CD-quality ( 16-bit 44.1/48kHz) lossless codec audio.
It is packed with internal storage of 64GB with the option for storage expansion. The device comes with a USB type-C port for charging and takes about 3.5 hours to charge. The device weighs 227 grams and measures 16.9 mm in thickness.
The connectivity features available for the device include USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen1 compliant), headphone stereo mini jack, balanced standard jack, and Micro SD for external memory. It is equipped with multiple sound effects that comprise Direct Source (Direct),10 Band equalizer, DSEE Ultimate, DC Phase Linearizer, Dynamic Normalizer, and Vinyl Processor.
