Designed to appeal to Malayali communities both in Kerala and around the world, the ‘Vishu Kaineettam’ feature celebrates the core essence of the tradition while adapting it to a digitally connected lifestyle. By enabling timely, pre-scheduled transfers, South Indian Bank ensures that the joy of giving and receiving Kaineettam remains uninterrupted. At the same time, it aims to deliver a strong customer connect and brand recall for the bank.
Transfers can be made to both South Indian Bank and Non-South Indian Bank account holders, making it seamless to share the festive spirit across distances.

To avail the feature, customers can log in to the SIB Mirror+ app, navigate to the ‘Vishu Kaineettam’ section, enter the recipient details, confirm the transaction, and authenticate using their MPIN to complete the process.
The facility will be available till April 14th. Non-customers can also access this feature by opening a Savings Account online and using the SIB Mirror+ app.
