Ghaziabad, 2 July 2026: Summercool Home Appliances, a renowned name in the home and kitchen appliances market, has announced the setup of a new 5-acre manufacturing plant in Ghaziabad. The project was marked by a formal groundbreaking (Bhumi Pujan) ceremony, and it is expected to invest roughly ₹250–300, strengthening the company’s manufacturing footprint and contributing to Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth.
The expansion is likely to create around 1,000 + direct and indirect job opportunities, giving a solid boost to local economic development and skill building. The plant itself will be spread across 5 acres (about 25,000 sq. yards), and it is designed to match the rising demand for consumer durables while also expanding the company’s production capabilities. The new facility is planned to produce a wide range of appliances, including washing machines, air coolers, televisions, induction cooktops, mixers, and several other appliances. This expansion is meant to broaden Summercool’s product lineup, as well as to improve how well it can serve consumers across India through increased manufacturing capacity.
Production at the upcoming manufacturing site will start from October onwards, coinciding with the Navratri festive season. The company is also planning additional manufacturing plants as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
