Gurugram, 09th December 2025: TCI Foundation, the CSR arm of Transport Corporation of India (TCI) Group, conducted an HIV/AIDS awareness and health screening drive for the mobility and migrant workforce in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, as part of its nationwide programme supporting the wellbeing of truck drivers and mobile communities.
Over 250 beneficiaries participated in the camp, which included HIV/Syphilis testing, general health check-ups, dental and eye care, and diagnostic screenings. Behaviour-change communication activities such as nukkad nataks, demonstrations and quizzes were organised to enhance awareness and encourage safe health practices.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Munish Chander, Director General & Head, TCI Foundation, said: “TCI Foundation remains committed to delivering preventive healthcare at transport hubs and strengthening access for underserved mobile populations. Our HIV/AIDS awareness efforts continue to focus on counselling, early detection and long-term wellbeing.”
The drive was supported by government health representatives such as Dr. Vijay Anand (MOIC, CHC Dibiyapur) and Dr. Saurabh Kumar (DOT Centre). TCI Foundation has been a key contributor to HIV/AIDS prevention in India through sustained STI/HIV screening, counselling, and community outreach across major logistics routes and transport nodes.
