Gurugram, 22nd September 2025: Transport Corporation of India (TCI), one of India’s leading logistics and supply chain solutions providers, organized a nationwide blood donation drive to mark the legacy of its Founder Chairman, Shri Prabhu Dayal Agarwal Ji.
The six-day campaign, held from 15–20 September across more than 52 locations in India, saw participation of more than 1,800 employees and associates. Blood donation camps were set up in cities including Kolkata, Gurugram, Rajkot, Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Ludhiana, Noida, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Patna, Varanasi, Mumbai, Haridwar and Ahmedabad, among others.
Fondly remembered as a pioneer of the Indian transport industry, Shri PD Agarwal Ji not only transformed logistics but also made contributions to health, education and women’s empowerment. He is credited with setting up some of the country’s first private blood banks, a legacy that continues through initiatives like TCI’s annual blood donation drive.
By mobilizing employees and partners for this cause, TCI aims to keep alive its Founder’s commitment to community service and humanitarian values.
