Terribly Tiny Tales collaborates with Roposo for ‘Dream Boy’

Terribly Tiny Talkies is one of India’s leading short film brands. It just launched ‘Dream Boy,’ a new short film powered by Roposo.

‘Dream Boy,’ directed by Keyur Shah, stars Dolly Singh, a renowned Instagram influencer who collaborated with TTT for her first-ever short film, as well as Sayandeep Sengupta and digital creator Yutik Palresha (as himself).

It is penned by Sharanya Rajgopal and Amrit Paul, is one such poignant piece that has already received 800k views and packs an impactful take on a modern-day romance in a short amount of time.

TTT short films are not only known for touching audiences, but they have also been recognized and awarded at a number of prestigious film festivals, including Clermont Ferrand, Filmfare, Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF), New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF), and others.

Anuj Gosalia, Co-founder and CEO of Terribly Tiny Tales, said that they have always focused on delivering slice-of-life stories that arouse and assist the viewer get in touch with their innermost feelings and realizations through their short films.

Their main aim was to explore how relationships crumble in today’s world of the Internet and social media with ‘Dream Boy.’

The interplay between the characters, as portrayed by both Dolly and Sayandeep, perfectly expresses the story. They are overjoyed that the audience is responding to the film with as much affection as we have put into making it.

Mansi Jain, Vice President & General Manager of Roposo said that for Roposo, to develop creator-led entertainment commerce, it was critical that the launch campaign itself featured entertainment at the forefront and center. Roposo worked as the perfect matchmaker in Utkarsh and Riddhima’s love story, and ‘Dreamboy’ readily accomplished the goal.

The focal point has been live commerce, which the film brilliantly depicts, with the hero shopping from our creator Yutik’s live stream and claiming his moment in the end with his entertainment-packed dance routine, all while wearing the items he bought on Roposo.

The short film examines modern relationships, the many snags that come with them, and how one overcomes them, with the goal of expressing and celebrating relationships as they exist in real life.

The uplifting and wholesome story aspires to connect and emotionally resonate with a much wider audience through the amazing connection between relatable characters Ridhima (played by Dolly Singh) and Utkarsh (played by Sayandeep Sen).

What happens when Utkarsh discovers that his new girlfriend Ridhima has an online crush on a boy? Will it forever alter him or their relationship?
