Gandhinagar: As the first showers arrive and the aroma of chai and freshly fried pakodas fills the air, the monsoon brings with it a comforting sense of warmth and togetherness. Inspired by these cherished seasonal traditions, The Leela Gandhinagar welcomes guests to Monsoon Delights, a specially curated weekend experience at Citrus Junction, available across all weekends in July from 10th July 2026.
Each weekend, guests can explore a menu that brings together regional monsoon favourites from across the country. From steaming bowls of thukpa and Bombay toasties to stuffed chillas, vada pav, and an array of comforting seasonal delicacies, the selection celebrates the familiar flavours that are often enjoyed during the rains. Live culinary stations add an engaging dimension to the experience, while freshly brewed tea and indulgent sweet offerings complete the evening.
Set within the elegant surroundings of Citrus Junction, where the timeless romance of luxury rail travel inspires every detail, the experience extends beyond the plate. As the monsoon unfolds outside, the restaurant becomes a welcoming setting for unhurried meals, meaningful conversations, and moments of quiet indulgence shared with family and friends.
Speaking about the seasonal experience, Vikas Sood, General Manager, The Leela Gandhinagar, said, “Every season brings with it flavours and traditions that evoke a sense of place and belonging, and the monsoon is perhaps the most nostalgic of them all.
