Bengaluru: Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi, the Happpiness Ambassador, is hosting India’s first World Happpiness Summit on September 24 in Bengaluru, bringing together some of the country’s most recognised voices including Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Kiran Bedi, Sonu Sharma, Hema Sardesai, Jai Madaan and Dr. Saamdu Chetri, pioneer of Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness philosophy.
To be held at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru, the summit will bring together personalities from entertainment, public life, entrepreneurship, spirituality, wellness and social leadership to explore a question that is increasingly relevant in a high-pressure world: what does it really take to be happy?
At a time when Bengaluru is celebrated as India’s technology and innovation capital, Happpy AiR’s initiative seeks to add another dimension to the city’s identity, one that places happiness, fulfilment and well-being alongside ambition and growth.
The World Happpiness Summit 2026 will feature conversations and keynote sessions around purpose, relationships, inner peace, mental well-being, fulfilment and the pressures that accompany modern success.
Shilpa Shetty and Arjun Kapoor will bring perspectives from entertainment and popular culture, while Kiran Bedi, Sonu Sharma, Hema Sardesai, Jai Madaan and Dr. Saamdu Chetri will contribute perspectives spanning public service, entrepreneurship, music, wellness, spirituality and the philosophy of Gross National Happiness.
More than a conventional conference, the summit is envisioned as a platform to question the way happiness is understood in contemporary life, particularly at a time when people often measure success through professional achievements, financial milestones and social status.
Sharing his vision for the summit, Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi said, “We spend so much of our lives preparing to become happpy someday, after the next achievement, the next milestone or the next success. But Happpiness is not a destination we arrive at. It is something we can experience in the present moment.”
He further added, “I believe true Happpiness is a harmonious mix of Pleasure, Peace and Purpose, the three Ps. This is why I spell Happpiness with three Ps. Through the World Happpiness Summit, our endeavour is to take this thought beyond an individual philosophy and create a larger conversation around what it means to truly live a happpy and fulfilled life.”
The summit is part of the larger #Happpy.AiR.Movement, which seeks to create a wider dialogue around happiness, inner peace and purposeful living.
The initiative comes at an interesting moment for Bengaluru. As the city continues to attract entrepreneurs, technology professionals, creators and young talent from across India, the summit aims to explore whether a city known for ambition and opportunity can also become a benchmark for happiness and well-being.
The World Happpiness Summit 2026 will be held on September 24 at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
