Mumbai, India — November 2025 — TrueDiamond, India’s first Designer Rings Atelier, unveils the Kashi 108 Cut™, a diamond with exactly 108 facets, co-created with Chintamani Diana, a Russian-born dancer, performer, and creative now based in Banaras, whose work blends classical precision with spiritual movement.
The collaboration was unveiled on the occasion of Dev Diwali in Kashi, as an ode to light, focus, and the rhythm that connects human intention to form.

“We’ve never done something that sits this close to art,” says Darayus ‘Zirak’ Mehta, Founder of TrueDiamond. “The Kashi 108 Cut was already about structure and rhythm, 108 facets, 108 reflections and Chintamani brought that alive through movement. It’s not just a diamond anymore; it’s a moment captured in motion.”
108 facets, infinite meaning
The number 108 holds significance across cultures, appearing in prayers, beads, and meditative repetition.TrueDiamond translates that symbolic order into a physical cut, shaping unseen rhythm into a diamond that refracts intention as much as light.
Each Kashi 108 Cut™ diamond is crafted one at a time, its 108 facets precisely calibrated for symmetry and brilliance. The result: a diamond that looks sharper, brighter, and more balanced than traditional cuts — yet feels deeply personal.

Where dance meets design
The campaign film, conceptualised and performed by Chintamani herself, captures the transformation of repetition into flow, much like the diamond’s 108 facets capture light. Set against the ghats of Banaras, her movement becomes a mirror for the diamond’s structure, a visual mantra of rhythm and stillness.
What makes the Kashi 108 Cut™ unique
- 108 facets, by design: More facets mean more light — resulting in heightened brilliance, depth, and reflection.
- Handcrafted, one at a time: Each diamond is cut and finished individually; if the symmetry isn’t perfect, it’s reworked from scratch.
- Intention meets craftsmanship: Inspired by rhythm, built by precision — a design philosophy that marries art with science.
- Limited edition: Only 108 stones in the debut release, each numbered and accompanied by a hand-signed certificate by the maker.
A new kind of ritual
Kashi 108 is not about superstition — it’s about structure, stillness, and meaning.
It offers a simple ritual for the modern world: something small and steady to hold while you hold your goals.
