New Delhi, 26 June, 2026: Uber, one of India’s leading ridesharing app, has announced the appointment of Arpit Tyagi as Head of Advertising in India, reinforcing the company’s commitment to scaling its advertising business and deepening partnerships with brands, agencies, merchants and marketers across the country.
The appointment comes as Uber Advertising enters its next phase of growth in India, with the company establishing a dedicated India-based advertising team that will be led by Arpit and supported by Uber Advertising’s regional and global leadership. This marks a significant milestone for the business as it deepens its investment in one of its fastest-growing markets and strengthens its partnerships with brands, agencies and advertisers across the country.
Arpit will lead Uber Advertising’s commercial strategy and operations in India, driving growth across Uber’s advertising solutions. He will focus on helping brands connect with consumers during high-intent, real-world moments across the Uber platform.
Arpit joins Uber with over 15 years of experience across advertising, media, marketing technology and digital transformation. Having spent the majority of his career at Amazon worked closely with brands and agencies to help them leverage retail media, data-driven marketing solutions and customer-centric innovation to drive business growth as part of Amazon Ads. He most recently served as Director, Enterprise Sales at The Trade Desk, leading strategic partnerships with some of India’s largest advertisers and agencies.
