Gurugram, August 13, 2026: V-Bazaar has built its Independence Day campaign entirely in-house this year. No external agency, no ad film. The Freedom Offer push is running through influencers, AI-generated reels, and standees outside stores.
Ten reels have gone out as part of the campaign, roughly 70% built using AI tools and the rest shot and edited by the in-house team. The brand chose this route mainly for cost efficiency, saving on production meant more of the campaign budget could go straight into the financial benefit customers get from the offer itself, rather than into a big shoot.
Instead of running content in multiple languages, the reels use a independence track provided on the platform itself, a practical call given how much of V-Bazaar’s audience is in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns.
The offer is available at every V-Bazaar store. It runs from August 7th to August 16th 2026, across all 130+ stores in over 100 cities and seven states. Three deals are running together, buy one get one free on select styles, flat 70% off on garments, and a ₹2000 gift voucher on shopping above ₹1000.
“We wanted this to feel less like an ad, more like something people stop and watch. Influencers and reels work better for how our customers consume content today, honestly. Doing it in-house also meant we could move fast and put the savings back into the offer,” said Hemant Agarwal, Founder and CMD, V-Bazaar.
V-Bazaar was started in 2016 in Lakhisarai, a small town in Bihar. It now operates in seven states and over 100 cities, mostly Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. This year’s campaign is built around reaching that same audience, on reels and outside their local store.
