New Delhi, 2026: Virohan, India’s leading healthcare-focused higher education industry partner, announced new collaborations with three universities: UPES (Dehradun), Rungta International Skills University (Bhilai), and Vivekananda Global University (Jaipur).
The additions strengthen Virohan’s growing network of 20+ university and institutional collaborations across India, including leading NAAC-accredited institutions.
Commenting on the partnerships, Mr. Kunaal Dudeja, Co-Founder & CEO, said, “The global healthcare system is expanding rapidly, but the growth in skilled manpower has not kept pace with industry demand. AHPs today form nearly 60% of the healthcare workforce, yet India continues to face a significant shortage across diagnostics, imaging, physiotherapy, OT technology, patient care, and hospital operations.
At the same time, healthcare education continues to face a major employability gap, where many graduates are not adequately prepared for real-world industry requirements. Through these university collaborations, we are working to bridge this gap by enabling institutions to deliver industry-aligned, skill-focused healthcare education that combine theoretical knowledge, practice and industry exposure through internships.

UG degree programs in Allied & Healthcare disciplines, including Physiotherapy, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, and Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology; UG Degree programs in other healthcare domains like Cosmetic Science, and Healthcare Management & Artificial Intelligence; MBA program, in Healthcare Management; and short-term certificate programs in Geriatric Care, Phlebotomy, Dispensing Optics, Patient Relations, and more for the 2026–27 academic year.
These programs combine industry-aligned skill training, VR-led practical learning with internship opportunities through Virohan’s network of leading healthcare partners across India – including Apollo Hospitals, Medanta, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Lenskart, Eye-Q Hospitals, and Orange Health Labs to equip students with the hands-on skills and experience needed to succeed in healthcare careers.
The expansion comes at a time of acute demand for healthcare talent. India needs more than 64 lakh for allied and healthcare professionals. Recognising this national priority, the Union Budget 2026 allocated ₹1,000 crore towards the education and training of allied and healthcare professionals.
As part of its push to widen access to quality healthcare education, Virohan has also launched the Women in Healthcare Initiative – a ₹2 crore scholarship pool to bring more women into the sector. Every eligible female applicant receives a scholarship of ₹50,000 going up to ₹2,00,000, based on class 12 marks, across Virohan’s partner institutions, with no NEET score required.
The latest additions build on Virohan’s growing network, which includes Babu Banarasi Das University (Lucknow), MIT University (Shillong), Silver Oak University (Ahmedabad), GH Raisoni University (Pune and Nagpur), Vikrant University (Gwalior and Indore), CMR University (Bengaluru), HRIT University (Ghaziabad), Assam Don Bosco University (Guwahati), Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth (Faridabad), and KIET (Ghaziabad), among others.
