Vivaano Announces Its Launch in India as a Two-Expression Tequila House

New Delhi, India – Built as a house rather than a single bottle, Vivaano makes its debut in India with two expressions, a Blanco and a Reposado.

Founded by Arjunpreet Singh Sahni, Vivaano is his second house. The first, Solitairriann, builds. The second, Vivaano distills. Together, they reflect a founder’s singleminded approach to building ventures that are built to last.

Built as a founder-led, atelier-built tequila house, Vivaano is built around a quieter kind of luxury, one shaped by craft, patience, and restraint.

The bottle itself carries the codes of the house. Wrapped in diamond-cut glass inspired by traditional Mexican glasswork, it is finished with the Vivaano medallion, a feathered dragon formed into an infinity loop, drawing from Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec deity associated with craft, creation, and celebration. Across the house, symbolism appears subtly. Nothing is decorative without purpose.

“After years of looking for the bottle I wanted to drink, I stopped looking and built it,” says founder Arjunpreet Singh.

Made in Jalisco, Mexico, by La Cofradia, a family distillery in operation since 1889,  both expressions are produced under NOM 1137 and bottled at source. Crafted traditionally using 100% puro de agave, both expressions are crafted the original, time-honoured way, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens (mampostería) and double-distilled.

The launch begins with equal focus on both expressions. The Blanco is positioned for the beginning of a meal, bright, mineral, agave-forward. The Reposado arrives later, rested in oak, layered, and slower.

“The Blanco is for the start of a meal. The Reposado is for the end of one. We launched them together because we did not want to make you choose.”

Rather than entering through scale, Vivaano will follow a measured, on-trade-first approach across Delhi NCR in partnership with Suvira Spirits. The house will initially focus on select placements across fine dining, cocktail bars, hospitality programs and private tasting environments before expanding into additional markets.

Central to the launch is the Vivaano Society, the house’s bartender and sommelier program built around long-term advocacy within the on-trade community. Designed as a closed-circle initiative rather than a public-facing campaign, the program reflects the brand’s larger philosophy: place carefully, speak selectively, build slowly.

Made in Jalisco, introduced first in India, Vivaano positions itself in the company of contemporary premium tequila houses including Patron, Don Julio Reposado and  Don Julio Blanco within the ₹6,000–₹7,500 segment.

Vivaano is owned globally by Vivaano Spirits LLP, India, and forms part of the founder’s broader house of ventures.
