Mumbai, September 03, 2026: Vivriti Asset Management (VAM), one of India’s leading private credit-focused alternative asset managers, has announced the appointment of Sanjay Patni as its Chief Business Officer-Onshore, underscoring the firm’s commitment to strengthening its distribution capabilities and deepening relationships with institutional investors and channel partners.
Sanjay joins VAM with over 27 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. In his new role, Sanjay will be responsible to lead the firm’s onshore investor engagement, capital formation initiatives, strengthening relationships with institutional investors, family offices & channel partners, and play a critical role in strategic growth activities.
Prior to joining Vivriti Asset Management, he led the Institutional Business Vertical at Mirae Asset Investment Managers India, where he played a key role in building and scaling the institutional business. Over the course of his career, he has also held leadership roles at Franklin Templeton AMC, Nippon India AMC (formerly Reliance AMC), HDFC Bank, Philips India and Kinetic Engineering.

An Electronics & Communication Engineer and an MBA from Pune University, Sanjay has also completed Management Development Programs at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Indore.
