Bengaluru, October 29, 2026: Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), a renewable energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions provider, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for a 450 MWp solar power project in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, scheduled for completion in FY2027-28. The LoA, from a leading domestic independent power producer, covers turnkey execution of the project and is not a related party transaction.
WRTL’s scope covers design, engineering, inspection, procurement, supply, delivery, erection, testing and commissioning of the project.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Viren Doshi, Whole Time Director, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, said: “This 450 MWp award adds momentum to our order book and shows our ability to take on projects of this scale for large developers. Rajasthan remains one of our most important markets, and Bikaner strengthens our pipeline in the state. Our focus now is on early mobilisation and commissioning within FY2027-28, as we pursue further solar and storage-linked opportunities.”
The LoA follows recent awards for 800 MWac (1,109 MWp) of solar capacity and a 291 MWp solar project paired with 280 MWh of battery storage, both scheduled for completion in FY2027-28. Bikaner is one of Rajasthan’s principal solar hubs.
