Mumbai, October 12, 2026: MSE marked World Investor Week 2026 with “Nivesh Ka Nrityamanch”, transforming the stage into a unique confluence of India’s rich cultural heritage and financial awareness. Moving beyond conventional formats of investor education, the initiative harnessed the universal language of dance, rhythm and storytelling to communicate essential investing principles in an engaging, relatable and accessible manner. Through traditional Indian dance forms, the programme brought investor education closer to audiences by weaving important financial lessons into familiar cultural expressions.
Held at St. Andrew’s Auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai, the event witnessed an enthusiastic in-person audience of over 1000 attendees and was webcast live on YouTube and Facebook, extending its reach beyond the auditorium.
MSE’s innovative approach to investor education has evolved over the years, exploring creative formats to make financial awareness more engaging and accessible. In 2024, the journey began with “Nivesh Ka Rangmanch”, a theatre-based competition that blended storytelling with financial education. In 2025, “Nivesh Ka Hasyamanch” brought finance and humour together through stand-up comedy, making investor awareness more relatable and enjoyable. Continuing this journey, “Nivesh Ka Nrityamanch” in 2026 celebrated the power of Indian dance and storytelling to communicate the fundamentals of investing and the importance of investor resilience.
Through these distinctive initiatives, MSE continues to explore innovative ways to make investor education meaningful, inclusive and accessible to diverse audiences.
On the occasion, Ms. Latika S. Kundu, MD & CEO, MSE, emphasised that “Dance is about rhythm, timing, balance and discipline. There is extensive preparation behind what appears effortless on stage. And when several performers come together, they have to trust one another and move in harmony. There are clear parallels with financial markets. Markets, too, depend on timing, information, discipline and trust.”
As more households explore market-linked investments and young Indians enter securities markets, financial literacy is increasingly important. ‘Nivesh Ka Nrityamanch’ uses art and dance to make investing relatable and engaging, highlighting how both art and finance require discipline, balance and timing. It reflects our commitment to strengthening investor awareness and financial understanding.”
Chief Guest Shri K.V.R. Murty, Whole Time Member, SEBI, while addressing the students in the audience, said that students are the best ambassadors and among the most important influencers in the mission that SEBI has embarked upon to create greater investor awareness. On the occasion of World Investor Week 2026, he encouraged them to take the message of “Samajh Se, Investing Simple” forward and share it with everyone so that they know to invest safely, wisely and after due consideration of risk they encounter.
Mr. Dhiraj Relli, Managing Director & CEO, HDFC Securities Ltd., advised the audience that the best investment you make is in yourself, you can accumulate wealth, health and relationships. In your Wealth creation journey, it starts with accumulating knowledge about capital market ecosystem, about products and services and platforms.
Mr. Swarup Mohanty, Vice Chairman & CEO, Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India), mentioned that the 60% of world population is under 30 and it is in India, and hence the future of the world is in this country and hence the youth of this country should realise their potential.
