Mumbai: ZEE TV is the fastest growing channel in the Hindi GEC space, clocking an impressive 51% growth in this year from March 2025 to March 2026. ZEE TV is the No.1 channel in the core prime time for five consecutive months. Zee TV dominates the core prime time with slot leadership in four consecutive time slots 8 pm to 10 pm. These numbers reflect the strong connection its stories share with audiences across India.
Through the recently conducted Zee Kutumb awards, ZEE TV has celebrated the spirit of aspirational India. An India that believes in the power of dreams and has the gumption to make them come true. ZEE TV characters reflect this new outlook and self-belief of Indians.
The spirit of India also resides in the feeling of community, where neighbours become family members. As Indians have evolved, so has ZEE TV’s relationship with its audience. Over the years, this relationship has grown so strong that it has become a family bond. Thus, the iconic Zee Rishtey Awards have evolved to become the Zee Kutumb Awards.
Zee Kutumb Awards 2026 is a celebration of progress and the togetherness of our communities. It is a living, breathing celebration of community living, our families, and the bonds that define us. More than just glamour, the evening became a heartfelt reminder of the India we grew up in, where neighbours are family, traditions are passed down like heirlooms, and stories are shared across generations.
The red carpet welcomed the beloved stars of ZEE’s most celebrated shows, including Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Saru, Vasudha, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, Jagadhatri, Lakshmi Niwas, and Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, as they arrived not just as stars, but as members of one large Kutumb.
The grand stage of the Zee Kutumb Awards was opened by Sharad Kelkar, who plays Arya in Tumm Se Tumm Tak. Talking about the same, he said, “Indians are driven by extraordinary resilience. Across the country, there is a deep-rooted belief in growth, possibility, and the power of dreams. Despite all the challenges we face, the spirit within us never dies. Our family values, the bonds we cherish, and the friends we make along the way become our reason for existence without us even realising it. This ‘Kutumb’ is trying to embrace everything that makes us human and unites all of us in one way or another, and I think that is a beautiful thing.”
Celebrities lit up the Zee Kutumb red carpet in glamorous traditional and contemporary looks. Sharad Kelkar appeared in a grey tailored suit with a red pocket square, while Niharika Chouksey (Anu) wore a pink embroidered Anarkali. Priya Thakur (Vasudha) stunned in a blue sequinned lehenga alongside Abhishek Sharma (Dev), who wore a navy embroidered bandhgala. Sheezan Khan opted for a peach sherwani, while Amandeep Sidhu (Sneha) wore a bright orange embellished Anarkali-style lehenga.
Jayati Bhatia looked elegant in a gold-embroidered saree, Mohak Matkar chose a pistachio lehenga, and Shagun Pandey complemented her in a matching pantsuit. Rajendra Chawla wore a mustard sherwani, while Bharat Ahlawat and Ayushi Khurana completed the lineup in sleek black outfits, adding glamour to the star-studded evening. Anita Hassanandani added to the glamour in a black velvet jacket paired with a sheer skirt, and Krystle D’Souza dazzled on the carpet with a sparkly silver and pink lehenga.
The Zee Kutumb Awards goes beyond recognition, it becomes a celebration of values. In a rapidly changing world where old customs are fading and communities are drifting apart, ZEE TV is bringing back the spirit of parampara, parivaar, and padosiyon ka pyaar.
