It has also been the No. 1 Hindi GEC channel in the entire primetime slot (6 pm to 11 pm) for the last sixteen weeks in a row. In fact, over the last 13 weeks (Source: BARC; GRPs (15+; HSM U+R, 1800-2300), Wk9 ’26 – Wk21 ‘26), Zee TV is the biggest entertainment (excluding sports and news) channel in entire primetime in HSM 15+ across all genres (Source: BARC; GRPs (15+; HSM U+R, 1800-2300), Wk6 ’26 – Wk15 ’26). Adding to this strong momentum, Zee TV’s show launches this year have also performed exceptionally well, receiving encouraging audience response and further strengthening the channel’s leadership position through fresh, engaging, and relatable storytelling.
Continuing this successful journey, Zee TV is now set to bring a fresh, emotional new story with its upcoming show Tu Hi Re Dil Mein. More than just a love story, the show is about destiny, relationships, and the unexpected turns life brings. It follows Vrinda, a girl believed to bring good fortune, whose life is guided by faith and destiny. While she dreams of a happy future and the man meant for her, fate takes an unexpected turn, leaving her heartbroken and questioning everything she once believed.
At the heart of the story is Vrinda, played by Priyanshi Yadav, a pure-hearted and deeply devoted girl who is seen as a symbol of good fortune, yet silently endures neglect and hardship within her own family. Despite her strength and faith, her kindness is often taken for granted.
Sanjay, portrayed by Abrar Qazi, is a man of integrity and compassion who finds himself caught between duty and his emotions. His journey is one of difficult choices as he struggles to follow what is right rather than what his heart desires.
Completing the narrative is Swati, played by Simran Rawal, a modern, educated, and emotionally balanced doctor. With a strong sense of clarity and understanding, she unknowingly becomes a part of a story shaped by destiny and unexpected choices.
What sets Tu Hi Re Dil Mein apart is its emotional depth and its honest portrayal of relationships, where love is not always simple, and destiny often has plans of its own. The show brings forward a layered narrative of hope, heartbreak, and sacrifice, making it a relatable and heartfelt watch for audiences.
Talking about the new show, Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Channel Officer, Zee TV, said, “Our consistent leadership as the No. 1 Hindi GEC channel in Prime Time* and our strong performance reflect the immense trust viewers place in Zee TV and the love they continue to show for our stories. Priyanshi Yadav added, “Playing Vrinda has been an incredibly special experience for me. She is pure at heart, simple, and full of faith, and I feel a sense of positivity every time I step into her world. At the same time, it is a very challenging role because Vrinda has so many emotional layers, and portraying her journey has been both demanding and fulfilling.”
Simran Rawal shared, “I feel truly grateful to be a part of a show like Tu Hi Re Dil Mein. Swati is a strong, modern, and sorted girl, someone who understands life and relationships with clarity, and portraying her has been a very special experience for me.
