Nithin Kamath, Founder and CEO of Zerodha, said,
“Most people learn about investing by losing money. Usually, because they followed bad financial advice or expected quick returns. This show captures what happens when you chase easy money, which is exactly why we focus so much on education through Varsity, DailyBrief, and Zero1.”
Speaking about the series, Prateek Singh, Founder & CEO of Zero1 by Zerodha, said,
“The consequences of money mistakes are REAL. Most people don’t realise that because financial education is still not a mainstream conversation in our country. Fiction, on the other hand, is one of the most consumed content formats; people find it a lot more approachable. With Phir Se Udd Chala, we’re trying to merge these two – Remove confusing Excel sheets from money conversations, use fictional storytelling to get the larger audience talking about personal finance and hopefully help them take the first step towards their money journey”
Adding to this, Vishwanath Shetty, D2C Head at Pocket Aces, said,
“At FilterCopy and Dice Media, we’ve spent years creating youth-focused stories, which has given us strong insight into the real challenges young people face today – unemployment and the growing gap between salaries and the cost of living. These realities felt important to talk about, and that’s what led to the creation of Phir Se Udd Chala.
That vision aligned naturally with Zero1 by Zerodha, which focuses on financial education and highlights the risks of chasing easy money or falling for false tips. While building the show, it was important for us to keep it as relatable and grounded as possible, and there was no better fit than Clout talent Arjun Pandey to lead the story.”
