The exchange4media associates with Infobip for the start of new initiatives

An interaction happened between exchange4media and Infobip so that they can come up with a series ‘Thursdays with Infobip’ in association with Infobip. The focus given was in the area of reimagining the business world which is the rise of digital practices. The marketers have a renewed focus on customer experience since there is an increasing number of consumers selecting and interacting with the Financial sector. To meet customer expectations, they are trying to keep up with the technologies and innovations. There are the emergence of newer demographic, psychographic and behavioral segments which is seen by the sector. All of these would result in the need to make the transaction and communication seamless and target-specific.

On the 28th of January, 2021 exchange4media curated a two-session Webinar as part of the series. The topic for the second session, which was a panel discussion, was ‘Future of Indian Financial Sector in A Hyper-Connected Era’ which looks at the phygital world in which how the finance sector in India grows. Some expert minds of the marketing industry share and their insights on the topic were viewed by the panel. MD-India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal, Infobip, Harsha Solanki was the session chair. Director and CMO of Max Life Insurance, Aalok Bhan; CMO of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Lakshman Velayutham; CMO of HDFC Bank, Ravi Santhanam; and Head of Digital Marketing in Paisabazaar.com, Sachin Vashishtha were the panelists. Over the months of the pandemic major shifts have happened, Director and CMO of Max Life Insurance, Aalok Bhan commented that over 400 times the digital quotient of the customers has increased in the times of the pandemic.

CMO of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Lakshman Velayutham has given the initiatives taken by him for making the digital consumer experience seamless during the time of the pandemic. An innovative ‘Janta-Connect’ program was launched so that they can connect to their customers through phone. They also sensitize its customers about COVID-19 according to him. Standardized banking and blockchain systems will emerge to grant the needs of the digital words which is believed by him shortly. There was a talk about how the BFSI industry needs to grow in the digitally connected world with the changing needs of the consumer.
