Agra, 28 October 2026: News18 Uttar Pradesh is hosting ‘Commissionaires Connect’ today in Agra, as part of a state-wide leadership dialogue series aimed at highlighting local success stories, growth opportunities and leadership models across Uttar Pradesh’s 18 commissionerates.
The initiative seeks to catalyse region-specific conversations around key sectors, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), startups, Geographical Indication (GI) products, One District One Product (ODOP), One District One Cuisine (ODOC), tourism, agriculture and smart infrastructure.
Through 18 ‘Commissionaires Connect’ events by News18 Uttar Pradesh’s media reach, the initiative also aims to enhance the visibility of local products, crafts and cuisines while creating stronger market linkages for artisans, MSMEs and culinary entrepreneurs. The platform will also facilitate business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) networking, helping connect local enterprises with potential buyers, partners and relevant stakeholders.
By bringing district-level identities, cultural heritage and development stories to a wider audience, ‘Commissionaires Connect’ seeks to support local entrepreneurship, generate employment opportunities and strengthen regional economies. The initiative also aims to promote Uttar Pradesh’s ODOP crafts and ODOC food clusters, positioning the state’s diverse districts as centres of enterprise, innovation and cultural distinction.
