Amazon launches ‘Itna Aasan Hai’ campaign

Amazon, the leading e-commerce company has launched the latest campaign in an effort to convey and to convince potential sellers who are not currently on the platform, about the ease of selling products on the online platform. 

The seller has driven, three ad campaign highlights the message ‘Itna Aasan Hai’ and showcases the ease and simplicity with which anyone can move their business online on Amazon. The ads emphasize that Amazon’s enrollment process is hassle-free and easy to understand for the sellers. By partnering with Amazon, the sellers can grow their business and reach greater heights. The campaign also highlights Amazon’s commitment to the advancement of sellers and small businesses in the country.

Amazon.in has around 600,000 sellers who sell hundreds of millions of unique products to the customers through the online mode of selling. As per Satish Upadhyay, Head- Marketing, Amazon India Marketplace, the campaign is intended to communicate to the various MSME’s, the advantages of taking their small businesses to a digital platform and also expanding their business by catering to the millions of customers on Amazon through e-commerce.

The campaign has been conceptualized by Ogilvy, India’s largest integrated and most awarded communications agency and directed by Sharat Kataria for Lucifer Circus. The campaign includes short content and TVC’s for its customers across India. 

Ogilvy provides a wide range of marketing services including public affairs and public relations, branding and identity, healthcare communications, direct, digital promotion, and relationship marketing.

As per N Ramamurthi, Ogilvy South President, usage of nursery rhymes is an effective, creative and memorable way to send the message across to the small sellers about the ease of conducting business and the scope for growth provided by Amazon.

Through this campaign, the agency is aiming to clarify the misconceptions in the minds of the sellers about the process of conducting their business in an online mode. Sellers are of the perception that there are are several barriers and paperwork required to sell on Amazon. The ads have been kept simple and easy to understand in order to drive home the message about the ease of selling on Amazon.
