As we all know, Delhi was one of the top leading states in the number of covid cases as well as the test positivity rate, the government decided to put forward the revised rules and regulation of the Covid-19 in the state to control the situation.

According to the latest reports, the state has witnessed a change in the number of covid cases and test positivity rate and the restrictions have finally worked. Now the government has decided to loosen up some of the restrictions and almost 63% of the people agree with the same.

Delhi has reported 10,756 new covid cases last Friday with a test positivity rate of 18.04% from the number of cases of 30,000 and the test positivity rate of 30%. This has been a great change and relief for the government to lift a few restrictions from the state.

According to the meeting, the Delhi Disaster Management and Authority put forward that the weekend and night curfew will remain the same but the offices can be opened with 50% of people working offline and the rest online.

The night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am will be continued every day and the weekend curfew from 10 pm to 5 am on Monday will remain the same and the public is requested to follow the same. The schools and colleges will remain closed and continue with online classes.

Even though the states like Maharashtra, Bangalore have lifted more restrictions the Delhi government has only sanctioned 50% of people working offline in the offices and if anyone is sick they are advised to work online.

According to the studies, the people who are taken the vaccination are safe from the various diseases that the Omicron variant spread the hospitals have been prepared for the accommodation of people who experience bad health regarding the same.

Of the number of cases reported, only three cases have been analyzed with Omicron and the rest are the delta variant the same is happening with the death rates and the hospitalization rate says Delhi doctors.

But since the cases are coming down the government cannot witness a spike of the cases again and is concerned with the safety of the people and they remain the restrictions which are implied as such.

The government has requested all the people to follow the rules and they expect to have full cooperation on their behalf.
